Introduction

MyCup offers a flexible tournament structure builder. Users can create multiple stages (e.g., group stage and knockout) and assign teams to groups or match pairs. Each stage has its own local settings, which can override the global tournament settings.

For example, you can configure a knockout stage where teams play a best-of-two series, but set the final to a single match.

Phases

A phase is the basic element of a tournament structure. You can add one or more phases of different types depending on your requirements.
For example, if your tournament includes a group stage followed by a knockout stage, you can easily configure the structure using two phases.

You can rename each phase by clicking the settings button:

Detailed examples can be found in the corresponding section of this documentation page.

Groups | League

This type is ideal for leagues or group stages.
You can add a single group to run a league-format tournament, or multiple groups to organize a group stage.

You can rename and customize each group individually by clicking the settings button:

Knockout | Single Match

This type is perfect for knockout games or standalone matches.

Note that after completing the matches in one round, winners will not be automatically advanced to the next round. You need to manually assign teams for each round. This allows maximum flexibility, as participants in the next round might differ from the previous round, or there might be a draw.

You can rename and customize each round individually by clicking the settings button:
