The MyCup dashboard is your central hub for managing all aspects of your tournament. This guide walks you through every section of the interface.

Tournament Header#

At the top of the dashboard you'll see your tournament summary card with:

  • Tournament name and sport type
  • Setup progress pill ("In progress · 50% complete") next to the name
  • Headline stats: Matches, Teams, Pending registrations, current Plan
  • Header action buttons:
    • Public site — open your tournament's public website in a new tab
    • Settings — jump to general tournament settings
    • Quick add dropdown with three shortcuts:
      • Add Team — opens the new team form
      • Edit structure — opens the Structure page (where you also generate matches)
      • Open Website — opens the public site (same as the Public site button)

These shortcuts cover the most common day-to-day actions. Matches are not created from here — they're produced from the Structure page via Generate matches once teams and structure are in place.

Live Matches#

When matches are in progress, a Live Now banner appears below the header showing:

  • Teams and current score
  • The phase/division name
  • A Result button for quick score entry

Setup Progress#

The dashboard shows a compact Setup card with your overall completion percentage and the next step you should tackle. Click View all steps to open the full Setup checklist page, which lists the steps in the order to follow them:

  1. Upload tournament logo
  2. Configure divisions (Premium only — visible with a Premium badge on lower-tier plans)
  3. Add teams
  4. Build the structure
  5. Generate matches (this happens on the Structure page — see below)
  6. Customize your public website (optional)
  7. Open public registration (optional)

Teams come before the structure so you have something to place into groups and bracket slots. The Generate matches step ticks automatically as soon as you hit the button at the top of the Structure page — there is no separate matches-creation flow. Other steps tick automatically when their underlying data appears (uploading a logo completes step 1; teams existing completes step 3; etc.) and any step can also be marked complete manually.

A small progress pill is also shown next to your avatar in the topbar — clicking it opens a popover with the next pending step and a quick link to the full checklist.

The left sidebar organizes features into groups (in this order):

Section Pages
General Dashboard, Plans, Documentation, Open Website
Tournament Management Divisions, Participant Candidates, Teams and Players, Venues, Referees, Structure, Matches, Statistics
Website Website Settings, Sponsors
Team Panel Custom Forms, Announcements, Team Managers, Settings
Tournament Users (collapsed by default) Admin Users, Admin User Invitations, Admin Roles
Settings General Settings, Sport Settings

Use the tournament switcher at the top of the sidebar to switch between tournaments if you manage more than one.

Plan-Gated Items#

Features that aren't included on your current plan still show in the sidebar with a small badge — a soft silver Pro pill or a soft gold Premium pill — so you can see what upgrading would unlock. Clicking a locked item takes you to the Plans page with a brief note about which feature you tried to access. This applies to:

  • Statistics (Pro & Premium)
  • Sponsors (Pro & Premium)
  • Divisions (Premium)
  • Team Panel group — Settings, Team Managers, Announcements, Custom Forms (Premium)

Plans Badge#

The Plans menu item shows a tier badge that reflects your current plan:

  • No badge for Free
  • A soft silver Pro pill for Pro
  • A soft gold Premium pill for Premium

Click Plans to see the comparison table, your current plan's usage, and your purchase history.

Dashboard Widgets#

The bottom section of the dashboard provides at-a-glance information:
