Managing Team Information
Last updated: February 11, 2026
The Team Info page allows team managers to view and update their team's profile information, including their logo, description, and contact details.
Accessing Team Info#
- Log into the Team Panel
- Click Team Info in the sidebar navigation
Basic Information#
Teams can manage the following basic details:
Team Name#
The official team name that appears throughout the tournament. This is a required field.
Description#
A rich text description of the team. Teams can use formatting options including:
- Bold and italic text
- Bullet points and numbered lists
- Links
This description may appear on the public tournament website.
Website Link#
Teams can add their website URL, which will be validated to ensure it's a proper web address.
Team Images#
If your tournament plan includes image uploads, teams can manage their visual identity:
Team Logo#
The primary team logo that appears throughout the tournament:
- Used in match listings
- Shown in standings tables
- Displayed on the public website
- Maximum file size: 2MB
- An image editor allows cropping and adjustments
Team Photo#
An optional team photo, often a group photo:
- May be displayed on the team's profile page
- Maximum file size: 2MB
- An image editor allows cropping and adjustments
Note: If your tournament plan doesn't include image uploads, teams will see a message indicating this feature requires a plan upgrade.
Contact Information#
Teams can provide contact details for tournament communications:
Contact Name#
The name of the team's primary contact person or manager.
Contact Email#
The email address for tournament-related communications. This is validated to ensure it's a proper email format.
Contact Phone#
A phone number for urgent communications. This accepts international phone number formats.
Editing Permissions#
Whether teams can edit their information depends on the tournament settings:
When Editing is Enabled#
- All fields are editable
- A "Save Changes" button is available
- Changes take effect immediately after saving
- If the team is linked to a candidate record, the candidate's name, contact name, email, and phone are automatically kept in sync
When Editing is Disabled#
- All information displays in read-only mode
- No save button is shown
- Teams can view but not modify their information
Tournament organizers typically enable editing during the preparation phase and may restrict it once the tournament begins.
Best Practices for Teams#
Profile Completeness#
- Fill in all available fields
- Upload a clear, recognizable logo
- Provide accurate contact information
Logo Requirements#
- Use a square image for best results
- Ensure the logo is recognizable at small sizes
- Use a transparent background if possible
Contact Accuracy#

For Tournament Organizers#
Before the Tournament#

During the Tournament#
Consider whether to:
- Keep editing enabled for contact updates
- Restrict changes to prevent last-minute modifications
- Lock team names to maintain consistency in brackets and results
Reviewing Team Information#
Periodically review team profiles to ensure:
- Appropriate logos are uploaded
- Descriptions don't contain inappropriate content
- Contact information is provided for all teams
